Control Systems Engineer for Drive-by-Wire Systems (m/f/d)

We are looking for…

Do you have a degree in a scientific or technical field and already have experience in control systems for automotive or industrial environments? Are you familiar with dynamic systems, control strategies, as well as their simulation and implementation, and possess in-depth knowledge of control engineering? Additionally, do you have experience with embedded systems, work confidently in real-time environments, and are comfortable with model-based development?
Do you have a solid understanding of modeling and optimizing control algorithms and are skilled in using MATLAB/Simulink? Are terms like Drive-by-Wire or standards like ISO 26262 familiar to you? Do you understand the safety and reliability requirements in the automotive industry? Knowledge of bus systems such as CAN and Ethernet, as well as tools like Vector and dSpace, would further enhance your profile.
Are you experienced in analyzing and validating control strategies and have ideally also accompanied tests on test benches or vehicles? Do you independently drive your projects forward, place great value on effective teamwork, and have strong communication skills?
Is "out-of-the-box" thinking second nature to you? Are you innovative, curious, and entrepreneurial in your mindset, with the courage to make decisions? Then we should definitely talk!

Your tasks

• Develop and optimize control systems for mobility applications.
• Model, simulate, and implement control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Analyze and validate control strategies while considering specific requirements.
• Conduct tests and commissioning in simulations, on test benches, and in vehicles.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports on development processes and customer projects.
