Design Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for…

Aside from studying mechanical engineering (University of Applied Sciences/BA) or having a comparable education, are you a good team player with strong analytical and creative skills? Thinking "out of the box" comes naturally to you, you are innovative and curious? You are proficient in dealing with electric motors, can engage with the topic of hydraulic and pneumatic design, and are confident in using CAD systems (for example, SolidWorks). Do you have initial experience with surface modeling and freeform shapes? Are you driven by improving something existing? Does your wealth of ideas lead to clever designs? Are you interested in innovative vehicle construction from hypercars to heavy-duty machines? Do you think like an entrepreneur and have the courage to make decisions? Then we urgently need to talk!

Your tasks

Design

• You develop concepts for pre-development and new developments up to their implementation in the vehicle.
• You use all modern design tools and develop your ideas from the initial draft to the finished product independently.
• You create and maintain CAD data and technical drawings.
• You accompany your projects until their realization in our state-of-the-art machinery park

Development

• You take over the technical support of prototype assembly.
• You control the technical documentation and product support.
• You manage the collaboration with external service providers.
